Sunday is World Pinhole Day!

“Anyone, anywhere in the world, who makes a pinhole photograph on the last Sunday in April, can scan it and upload it to this website where it will become part of the annual Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day celebration’s online gallery.”

If you don’t already have a pinhole camera, you still have plenty of time between now and Sunday to make one from scratch or build one from a kit (if you build this one — which you can pick up at Magpie in Davis Square since you’re in a bit of a hurry — you’ll have the same camera Jonny Greenwood carries around while touring with his band…)

Better yet, build a Dirkon, or an Ipanoram panoramic pinhole camera.

Choices abound, in other words — the important thing is to get out there and shoot!

  1. I like how the Amazon description for the kit says, “Uses all type of 35mm film and produces professional pinhole images.”

    Professional pinhole images!

  2. See that, how can you go wrong? ;-)
