Fuji Discontinuing Pro 800Z Film

Ironically, users of Fujifilm’s Choose Film site will have one less film to choose from come Fall. Not to be outdone by Kodak, Fuji announced last week that it will stop producing all formats of Fujicolor Pro 800Z film in September.

This is another blow to film photography in general, but especially harsh for medium-format shooters, who will be left with just one 800-speed 120 film option (Portra) once supplies of the discontinued Fuji offering run out.

With all these film stocks being discontinued, am I the only one looking at used refrigerators on craigslist with plans to start hording film??
